Help my address bar is gone

The address bar that should show up on the top of this page isn't there (yes I have it checked under "view"). Normally if I wanted to go here I'd type in www.twoplustwo.com , for example. Well I can't type anything in because that "space" is no longer there. What can I do?

I was deleting some registry files and may have got carried away at some point. Since I probably shouldn't have done that I can't tell you what I deleted, but it was probably mostly porn related .... I also checked temporary internet files and deleted some things but that shouldn't affect anything right?

I checked the files that came w/ dell and I can't find an internet explorer file. Can I redownload IE someplace? Will that solve the problem?

Dude, screw IE. It's all about mozilla firefox.

I'm not sure what that is, but all I need is a browser and IE has been working for me up until now!

Right click to the right of the buttons at the top of IE next to all of the icons and click "address bar", now it is checked and the bar should come back.

Download Mozilla Firefox. It is a way better browser than IE. You'll see when u start to tab.

Thanks, but that is already checked and unfortunately it doesn't come back.

Click the bottom bar showing (the buttons I guess?) and drag down.

Pokeraddict is probably right, but if you have XP you could go to Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, follow the simple instructions and put everything back to what it was before you started messing with things you have no right to mess with.

just hover the mouse near the top where this page ends and underneath all the buttons like 'back' & 'home' etc until you get a black up and down arrow.

Then while clicking, pull the mouse down and it will come back. You can also right click and lock it.
