Default Monitor Resolution Problem

Ok I just got 2 used Samsung 900DF 19 in CRT monitors. I just reformated my computer and installed the drivers for my ATI Radeon 9600 SE. When I go to use 1600 X 1200 Res. Its like zoomed in almost and I have to go to the edges and the screen moves. Is this a Hardware problem cause Im 95% sure all my hardware should support 1600X1200.

Ok I figured it out after looking around. For anyone whos run into this problem and needs help. Go into the properties and right click on the blue screen where you choose the Res size. Then click properties. Click the Displays tab on the top and click which monitor and you can adjust the Max Res. But make sure you put in the HZ for refresh rate low enough or it wont work.

Specific drivers for the monitor may help.
