Sometimes i like to for a check-call , donk bet the turn line. This only has merit if you can get a read on UTG and makes good guestimates to his hand range after the turn action. If you think he has a PP higher then 66, c/r the river.

at lower limits you can donk the flop, get raised and donk the turn and get to 3bet. I imagine this would work well in more aggro games, but I could be wrong.

The worst player at the table raises utg. This player is too loose, cold calls too much.

I'm always kind of curious about statements like these. How do you get to playing 100/200 at PokerStars by cold-calling too much? Are there people just really bad at theoretical poker at these levels or is cold-calling just a larger part of meta-game? The reason I ask is because I play mid-stakes limit (10-20 through 30-60) and there are very few hands that I cold-call a raise with and none that I cold-call a 3-bet with. At the limits I play, shania doesn't really matter because the opponents aren't very good but I assume that at 100/200 people would know better than to cold-call as much as you're making them out to be, but then again I don't play this high, and that's why I'm asking.

I'd think that too. But we'd both be wrong.
