Default handreading skills

I play mostly $1/2 6m and after thousands of hands aren't a whole lot better at reading hands than I was when I started. A big part of the problem is that even with some datamining there's just too many different ppl I play against that I've never seen before and many are just lunatics (3-betting 63o pf for example).

So besides maybe running old hands through pt's replay for practice, are there some good threads or anyone have ideas on how to get better at reading hands at a level where opponents are often playing almost anything (but also where many are playing straight up)?
