Default Live @ the Bike, freeroll

First of all, kudos to Denny and his people over at the Bike. They ran a great tournament and didn't skimp on anything even though it was a freeroll and they were already putting up the prize money. We got free hotdogs, nothing fancy but it did the job. They also gave everyone who wanted one, a free Jacket(winning o' the green) which was nice. Also the final table gets a steak dinner with Denny hosting it. All for a freeroll event. Most $300 buy in tourneys don't even give you a food discount coupon.

The atmosphere was fun, nobody to serious and every one of the entrants were friendly and having a good time(it's very surprising to see the faces behind the online handles). If you ever have a chance to go to future thebike.com freerolls it is well worth it. Say what you will about Denny's commentary, but he runs the best tourneys, even for us cheapskates.

P.S. I saw Jennifer Bankston, and yes she is way hawt.

No, they are on a break (steak house), they'll start the final table at 6pm in time for the Broadcast. A mother and son made it to the final table. Also, most important, no hot chicks at the final table. That's why I decided to bust out at 11th place.

Have any particulars about the tournament like how many signed up, how many did they pay, stuff like that? I'd have thought Denny would have treated everyone to Pink's hot dogs, knowing how much he likes them.

Over 100 signed up, 85 showed.

Just hotdogs, the Pink's stand left about a month ago.

Final table paid. 9th gets $50---forgot the middle---1st gets $500 + Sony Viao Lap Top.

Started with $1000, 10/15 blinds, 15 minute rounds, final two tables had 20 minute rounds (the blinds were ridiculas)
9 handed. Nobody played aggressivly until I got to the final two tables.

Jackets are tan color, not the best looking, plus It was like 90 degrees outside.

Being that you had to qualify online, there were quite a few older people and not that many younger college age people.

All in all it was fun times.

Watch for a dude, named EvilJoker, he had like 10 beers during the tourney and he likes to yell. So he should be the entertainment for tonight.

No wonder why Denny hasn't talked about them.

They must have lots of those jackets remaining.

Or too young to actually be at the Bike.

The Bike does seem to do things like this very well, and have fun with it.

I miss Steve and Francisco. I wonder if they saw the archives and decided not to play anymore. That'd be a shame.

169 signed up and I counted 14 full tables at the start.

1st place got $1000.00 in chips and a HP Pentium M, 512mb w/40gb HD, cdrw/DVD.

All in all a great first place prize that I am enjoying greatly.

You were in seat 7 when I was moved to your table.(I was given seat 4, two to the left of the blonde).
You "apologized" to seat 8 for having to put her all-in,
then turned over A/K for a royal slapping, GH.

"Watch for a dude, named EvilJoker, he had like 10 beers during the tourney and he likes to yell. So he should be the entertainment for tonight."

They cut him off(refused to sell him any more beer)at the dinner party(he had sweet n sour pork).
Big mistake as I'm sure you saw. They should've given him a beer just to shut him up.
It must've been quite a show for the internet viewers.
I would love see it myself.
Is it still viewable? How can I obtain a copy? Did "AcenoGood" look as stunned to onliners as he did to me (as he insanely muttered to himself)in person?
You should all take advantage of the ease of entry while it still is. It's all Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
