It's all buisness I guess. If party would offer the top 10%-15% MGR's each month a 25% "bonus", with the understanding that affiliates wouldn't be paid on those accounts, wouldn't it solve a lot of problems?

You get what you pay for.

You are proposing that Party only pay affiliates for mediocre and bad customers. Little or no compensation for finding a big producer. If big affiliates don't dump Party completely they will at a minimum try to steer their website traffic to more lucrative poker rooms.

So, stop paying the affiliate after 6 months or a year instead. If 8k for a year instead of 8k per year on a player isn't worth their time, I suggest they try a different business.

I agree that the affiliates are important and need to be compensated. However rakeback is the incentive to play 90 000 hands a month, it generates levels of play, that would not exist for the affiliates to profit from?

Rakeback for players that will only be high volume players with rakeback is a win-win-win. It eliminates the incentive for affiliates poaching players, and forces them to attract new players to generate profits.

How many players do you think play 90,000 hands/month at Party? (I can tell you in advance that your guess is too high)

Well if you think its about incentives, how many players do you think are playing 90,000 hands/month at all online & offline poker rooms combined?
