the classes blow but are easy in comparison to other licenses that u have to get for other things (in time wise) If u play ur cards right u can make a good deal of money, but u also have to be the right kind of people person to do it (not too passive and not overly pushy) Great area of business in that u can work easily for others and its easy to branch of and work for urself (in comparison to other types of jobs). U can eventually make ur own hours, show property when u want (of course times for ur customer as well) but it also keeps u out of an office setting if that kinda thing makes u stir! I figure if I make alot and get a house, I can get this Egyptian to marry me, cause she doesnt have any other options.

It's not as easy as you think. Don't think of the job as as selling RE (easy), think of the job as finding customers who will let you sell their RE (hard).

Do some internet homework. In Cali you will starve soon if you don't already have a solid base of contacts. Also, I am assuming you are male. If you work residential you will soon discover that women are fierce, savage competitors. Good luck.

luckily my mom is a real estate agent and will be helping me start, also she works at the busiest office in the area so i will probably get to hang my license there.

plus, im reading a book, your first year in real estate. i got the goods.

I work tehcinical support for Realtor.com and all I can say is that Realtors are the most impatient, rude people you will meet. Also most all of them are very high strung extremely stressed out people who are working way to hard for the amount they make.
