Default Warning to Americas Card Room Small Skin Players

If your ACR skin has stayed on the network then nothing has changed, continue to expect fast cashouts. Be sure though that your skin has not tried to pull a fast one on you by switching networks without telling you.

It seems ACR is dumping Dobrosoft and switching software. They have dumped most of their smaller skins. I know ACR fell out of favor but I am sure some still play there, I did, the games were just too juicy. Here is what happened to me.

Several affiliates offered a poker room called Mega Comps Poker on my website. I played the room to be able to write an accurate review of it and review the affiliate that I signed up through. The games were so good I decided to continue playing for the monthly bonuses.

On May 10th I deposited to play in what looked like a good game. Quickly I realized I was not on ACR's network. I then figured out this was on Poker World now. This skin had changed networks and didnt feel like this was important enough to tell their players. I have a personal reason for not liking Poker World (it has nothing to do with cashouts as I am sure they are just as stable as ACR) so I went to cash out less then an hour after my deposit. I also emailed their support to voice my opinion of how shady it is to change networks and not tell your players and the website still had a link to ACR live support with ACR's phone number on the index page.

Normally these would be credited the next morning, this wasnt but no big deal I can wait for my $149. After it went about 60 hours I emailed the cashier, it bounced, I emailed support, it bounced, I went to the website and megacompspoker.com now forwards to a Pacific Poker affiliate page.

I decided it was time to be concerned about my cashout. The reason I trusted this poker room was it was backed by a huge sportsbook (Betcris). This was no longer the case. I emailed ACR, they were no help and also ignored a separate email asking them for a list of skins that left or were kicked off their network. I emailed Poker World a couple of times back and forth and they gave me a link to a contact form to Miami Poker, I used their form and it isnt programmed correctly so it didnt work, I found a live chat and the rep said "we are having temporary cashout difficulties" which I have heard before waiting an excessive amount of time for a cashout.

If you play on the ACR network before you play another hand you should make sure your skin is still actually on the ACR network and not Poker World. If you want to play on Poker World play directly on their software, after what I am going through I must strongly suggest that for the time being until they get organized and can prove they are solvent that you not deposit into these rooms.

I received an unsolicited email from someone in Dobrosoft that was borderline rude that I was panicking over nothing but had the right to be a bit upset about this time it had taken and I would have my cashout Monday. I guess this Miami Poker place forwarded the email to them. There seemed to be a mistaken identity because the email spoke as if I knew him. I will post when this cashout comes.

I am not trying to bash Dobrosoft, many large sportsbooks use them although some of their licensees have had checkered pasts. I just wanted to warn players who play on ACR what could be happening to them, this does not affect any other Dobrosoft poker room cashouts.

you assume the worst. FYI mega comps poker was registering other skin domain names such as PantherPoker.net and they got ACR domain names and directed them to mega comps poker.

this may be the reason mega comps poker is not in the network anymore

Maybe I am but several other ACR skins I have tested are now a part of this Miami Poker network also. I must agree that is sleazy what he had done. I did not know this had happened.

PokerAddict: You are correct in saying that myPokerNetwork (AmericasCardoom) is going through some changes with both software and franchises. You are not correct in saying that players need to worry about their cashouts. PokerWorld for one is also joined by a competitive sportsbook and should never pose a problem with cashouts. Keep in mind we care about all our players even when moving them to another network, we were cautious in ensuring their new home would not pose any problems.

The move was done seamlessly to ease the migration and changeover. We do not have any places with a list of sites posted in our network or others. Those list have been compiled by the owners of the sites. PokerPulse will have the updated information about our site once we move to our new home.

A list of the sites that are moving with us to our new network is:

Americas Cardroom
http://www.acrpoker.com

Poker Shootout
http://www.pokershoutout.com

Aloha Poker
http://www.alohapoker.com

BetMaker Poker
http://www.betmaker.com

Casual Poker
http://www.casualpoker.com

DSI Poker
http://www.dsipoker.com

Fabulous Poker
http://www.fabulouspoker.com

Live Action Poker
http://www.liveactionpoker.com

NetPoker24
http://www.netpoker24.com

Panther Poker
http://www.pantherpoker.com

Poker Stand
http://www.pokerstand.com

Poker Playground
http://www.pokerplayground.com

PST Poker
http://www.pstpoker.com

Delta Poker
http://www.deltapoker.com

We are switching to PokerNetwork (OnGame Solutions), who has market leading poker software and soon to be providing mobile poker on your CELL phone .

Some of the improvements:

- Now compatible with PC, Mac & Unix.

- Two versions available for PC, download & no-download.

- One account for sports, casino, poker, horses & skill games

- Easy transfers to sports

- New invite only tournaments

- And Much much more!

PokerAddict hopefully this answers your concerns and questions.

First let me say that I did not mean to imply that playing on Poker World was a risk. They are as financially stable as any other room. Olympic Sports (who own Poker World) get extremely high grades in service as well as financial strength and I am sorry if I gave this impression. Poker World has commented to me that they have no connection whatsoever to this Miami Poker group and have no financial obligation. This is no way affects players playing on Poker World through their software.

Nick thank you very much for giving the list of rooms moving with you to the new network. I tried to get this by email to your support but at the time they were unable to provide me with this.

Good luck on your new software and network, I have a feeling that your room will do much better after leaving Dobrosoft. My main concern is the fact that these skins that left your network seem to have created another entity called Miami Poker, even though they connect to Poker World they are banked separate and now 6 days later have not processed my cashout. I received an email saying I would have this Monday morning so we shall see. I certainly will not hold this against ACR or Poker World. I just felt it would have been appropriate to notify players of this change, a notification I never got and assumed most did not. That was the point of my post.

PokerAddict: MiamiPoker network was not created by the sites that we moved away from our network. They have actually existed for some time, but have not done a lot to push their client base. They are backed by a large online casino and we feel your money is safe. We would not have allowed them to move to Miami Poker, should we not have felt confident that your money would be safe. Expect your $149 cashout anyday and I expect to see a $149 deposit to the new & improved ACR! haha

Regarding the delay with your cashout i'm sure it is only because they have been overwhealmed with the migration.

Thanks, got the money as well as a phone call personally from Vinko, the head of Dobrosoft with an apology and we had a lengthy positive discussion about the future of the networks.

He was very positive about it and was very excited about Poker World and the future of all of the sportsbooks that use their poker software. It seems there are many ideas and upgrades in the near future that of course he did not elaborate on I would think to protect the ideas.
