Rake, prima compared to party
I've been studying the rake tables available at primapoker.com and partypoker.com and i dont really know how to make anything out of them. Which site has the lowest rake for low limit play(0.5/1 to 2/4 specifically)? Im wondering since a lower rake affects the game slightly in close situations, blind stealing for example.

Re: Rake, prima compared to party
Ayecappy - seen you around on Prima $1/2 6max
For small pots party is worse - $0.5 is taken at $5 vs. $0.25 at Prima. So at 1/2 a called steal will have $5.50 in the pot and be raked. At lower than 1/2 it doesn't matter. Party has a slight advantage in that the next rake isn't taken until $12. I don't have a huge number of hands to compare but, from memory, at 0.5/1 6max Prima rake is slightly lower (3.85 vs 4.3) |

Re: Rake, prima compared to party
Crypto
.5/1 rake = 4.58% of pot 1/2= 3.95% 2/4 4.32% (yup - believe it) Party .5/1 = 4.57% 1/2 = 4.16% 2/4 = 3.41% Poker Stars 1/2 = 3.62% 2/4 = 2.80% Prima Network 1/2 = 3.70% 2/4 = 3.44% I'm not sure you should concern yourself over rake and it's effects on the game. There is nothing you can do about it and any changes are so teeny tiny that you are over thinking at this level. SIM Grinder - Curiously entertaining BLOG Google it! |

Re: Rake, prima compared to party
The rake can be almost 1/2 that at Prima if you sign up for rakeback, which helps SIGNIFIGANTLY over the long haul.
