Default what\'s up with playerview??

so now that a few of us actually paid the $50 without complaining, he just shut it down? wtf? all i want is to download it to my new computer which his website claims you can do. however, none of my emails have been returned and the site looks like nothing has been updated in several weeks?

Yeah, it was pretty cheeky that as soon as he started charging for it development ground to a halt. That website is like a ghost town.

All I can really say is pay the $25 for pokerace, well worth the money, much better than PV, and seems to be constantly updated and improving.

Amir is working on other projects. I think anyone that used PlayerView initially should not feel cheated. PV was the nutz for many months. I now it paid for itself for me within a few days use.

I don't feel cheated -- it certainly payed for itself many times over during the time I used it. I was an avid supporter of the project whilst it was going and was happy to pay for it.

I do still feel it was slightly cheeky that he appears to have given up on the project not long after charging for it.

yeah, and it was also perhaps the most revolutionary application to come along since pokertracker.

it served as the basis for pahud, the current nutz, and josh has frequently paid the requisite homage to amir for his work on PV.
