That is a matter of opinion...Where is that line drawn? It is highly subjective that is why it should be the minimalist approach and give you the ability to move and\or become politically active.

For example, I choose not to live in DC and MD or to move to CA because of their gun control laws. I am very active in preserving my gun rights in VA move that to the federal level, it just the flavor of the ruling political party.

Your choice. You know that MN passed a new concealed carry law (a bit of a misnomer because concealment is not required) where the default is to issue a permit (used to be much more discretion given to local authorities), right?
