Default Its been a while.. (hand for critique)

well fellas, it's been a long time since i've played poker due to schoolwork and lack of time. But i just redeposited and am back in the micro limits. I feel like I misplayed this hand pretty badly especially on the turn and river.. what do you gents think?

MP is a loose player who has gotten aggressive and will play and call with almost any two, UTG is the big stack at the table but he is showing down real trash like k8o etc.. he likes to be aggressive and people are letting him run them over.. he also tends to chase and fold if he doesnt make his hand.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG raises, MP 3-bets, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (8 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP bets, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

River: (12 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP bets, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG calls, MP calls.

Final Pot: 18 BB

Im not sure why I slowed down on the turn.. and the river raise was because MP had about 1.5 BB left infront of him and I figured if im playing.. im putting him all in. (illogical no?)

Flop play is OK IMO (capping being a viable alternative) but I would definitely check/raise the turn given your read on Villain. Your hand is not invincible here.

I think I cap the flop and go from there. If the action is still hot on the turn, I'd think about slowing down then. You still have a full house draw to save your butt, however, even if there is a straight.

I'm a wus so I probably would have just called this river. But I don't think you really missplayed it anywhere.

I would either cap the flop and lead the turn, or call the 3 bet and check raise the turn. I think you're ahead most of the time here.
