Default 6 handed hand

$10+1

MP (t3500)
Button (t2500)
SB (t1800)
Hero (t1200)
UTG (t3000)
UTG+1 (t2000)

Blinds 50/100

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
4 folds, Weak/tight SB completes, Is this a good spot to push or should I just check(is it to early?)

Ok, so at what point is a push more reasonable? How many blinds? Sorry I am having a night of missed push opportunities because it seemed like any slight opportunity turned in to an awful string of cards or mediocre hands with raises in front of me, etc.
