Re: Stealing with AA
I like the line of calling the flop and raising the turn. However, the top card pairing is the worst thing for an overcard to see.
I'm checking this turn and betting the river if checked to, calling if bet into. It's WA/WB, and in HU situations like this, playing cautiously is fine. |

Re: Stealing with AA
I definitely 3 bet the flop here. You can't be afraid of the set just yet.

Re: Stealing with AA
3-bet the flop, check turn, call river.

Re: Stealing with AA
Just wondering if being 8 handed would change anything?

Re: Stealing with AA
The J pairing sucks, but I hate the fold.

*grunch*
Fold here? Villain could have KK or QQ, you know. If you're worried about trip Jacks, check/call to river. Most likely, I'm reraising on every street. ScottieK |

Re: Stealing with AA
You look as though you were stealing. A lot of opponents at this level relax when they see a card double, especially the high card. To them it is a sign that you don't have that card because half of them are gone. Hence, opponents may be betting a lot of things you beat here. I'm not enthused here, but I don't fold.
