Default Yet another KK facing resistance

New at table so no reads and have never seen villian before.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) converter

($21.40)
UTG+1 ($23.25)
MP1 ($9.80)
Hero ($24.65)
MP3 ($25.95)
CO ($17.75)
Button ($18.90)
SB ($25.10)
BB ($65.70)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I open for $1.25 , folded to CO who raises to $3 , I'm the only caller

Flop: ($6.35) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (9 players)
Hero bets $5, CO raises to $14.75, Hero ???

Easy call? Easy fold? Why?

I don't think he raises so high with aces. Proabably has an overpair 66-QQ. Seems like a pretty easy call.

NL25 this is an easy push. If he has aces who cares. Too many donks here to make folding here worth debating. You can't make sophisticated plays against idiots, you can just play the field.

His flop raise puts him allin.

Easy Call. Why? Because youre getting almost 3:1 on your money and you are at least 50/50 to have the winner. Probably much better odds than that.

My thoughts exactly, actually I felt it was much better than 50/50. The only reason I posted this was because villian went on for about 10 minutes about how he couldn't believe I called when he so obviously had Aces and how he had me read perfectly for KK and was ready to fold a K high flop. I haven't been running as good as usual lately so I just wanted to make sure this was as clear cut as I felt it was.

Hey Po,

Why not reraise PF?

Curious, B

I rarely 3 bet pf with anything. My reasoning is that I don't want to lose customers , QQ-TT/AK/AQ type hands may wake up and muck to a reraise. This also allows me to get away sometimes with a minimal loss when the flop is really ugly. Either way I'm getting stacked by Aces but the rest of the time I'm stacking worse hands, at least in theory. JMO
