Here is a worse beat that happened to a friend of mine in a tourney.

Player 1: KK
Player 2 Ax

Flop comes K44. P1 likes his boat and goes all in. P2, who has him covered, calls. It comes running 4’s and P2 wins with the A kicker.

The sad thing was that the guy who lost went on tilt for weeks, if not longer. At first he would talk about the hand at the tables. But later on people started reminding him of it just to taunt him.

That's not a worse beat. Running Aces would give P2 the win as well. In this hand, 33 has to catch perfect-perfect (i.e. there are only two cards in the deck that will improve him, and he has to catch both).

Exactly edge
In the other case the guy could have running fours or aces
I just think it would have been great if they both slowplayed their hands and when hit my 3 on the turn I owuld think I was gold, not knowing I had one out left

I think I mentioned this one here already somewhere, but I think it bears repeating, it was so fun.

My hand: 22
Flop: 552
Turn: 5
River: 5

Flopping a full house: $0.50
Ending up with nuts low: priceless

Player1 with KK is 70.7% to win pf, 99.6 to win on the flop.
In your hand the guy with 99 was 44.1% to win pf, 98.2 to win on the flop.

Not a huge difference, but the guy with KK suffered the worst beat.

If you are talking about who made the biggest suckout, then yes, 33 was farther behind on the flop because he had to get running threes to win.
