I wimped out on the flop/turn due being 3-betted preflop and on the flop. My reasoning was that that much agro was a good sign of aa/kk. Is my thinking weak/tight or reasonable?

Bet out the flop next time. 3-bet and see if Villain caps.

This is the line to opt for if you're looking to stay conservative. A flop cap to close the action would be nice, then you could put the BB to the test when he opens the action on 4th ST
