You Padre fans need to start worrying.

Yeah, because us NL Westerners are going deeeeeeeep into the post season this year.

And we're really not worried about it.

This is what makes the Giants/Dodgers the greatest rivalry in all of sport.

Sure, we suck this year, but as long as we do better then the bums, everyone is happy in Gigante country.

Blaston and the Yankmees cannot say this. They truely feel that if they do not make the playoffs/win the series, the season has been a failure.

I hate nothing and/or nobody in life....except Dodgers.

Default Watching tonight\'s Giants/Dodgers Game

And both teams would have trouble beating a good college squad. What an exhibition.

Joe Morgan's counterpart (I cannot for the life of me remember this guys name) begs to differ. Did you catch the part during the game when they were letting us know what ESPN was airing later on in the week?

"Baseball's most storied rivalry" is what he called the Red Sox/Yankees.

Boy I bet that pissed off all the Dodgers/GIants fans who were watching

While the Dodger's did suck, I felt the Giants played
a very solid game.

Alou messed up Alfonzo's at bat by having him try to hit and run with a pitcher who couldn't get the ball over the plate. Then the Giants' baserunner stopped running between third and home and was thrown out at the plate. Benitez could't handle the little dribbler down the line. Just a few examples of the quality of play. Certainly the Giants were less inept, though, than the Dodgers were.
