Default Quick flop peel question

new table.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $3.
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, 3 folds, MP3 calls, CO (poster) calls, 1 fold, SB 3-bets, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls.

Flop: (15.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP3 calls, CO calls, SB calls, Hero...?

If I had the 7 of diamonds I call in a second. But without, our hand gets devalued. Are my odds good enough to call, even counting the times i hit a set and someone else hits a flush?

closing the action ill make that call as we're almost certainly drawling very live and if a 7 comes we can certainly get paid off. with the pot this large a 7 of diamonds doesn't even hurt as we certainly will have odds to draw to pairing the river/another 7.

With no reads and two raisers I would fold this preflop.

That said, the lack of a raise on the flop almost eliminates the worry that someone is holding two diamonds so the pot odds + implied odds are good enough.

preflop is interesting as i would have folded, but now i'm not so sure.

if we were CO/Button and UTG raised and there were 3 other cold callers, we cold call right? well our call in BB is almost just like that.

however: position and the possibility that UTG will cap or that the poster will fold...i don't know. i'm waffling.

Flop: our position on the flop bettor makes this a good place to peel. but i'm waffling here too. there are soo many cards that could come and ruin our hand even if we hit our 7 on the turn. i would think reverse odds would kill our hand beyond the fact that we are still behind in the odds we need to call this flop to begin with.

This is not my experience. Of course it depends on reads, but I think many players would just call with two dimonds here.

I am not so sure about calling here. You do not have the direct pot odds to draw to a set, so you have to rely on implied odds. But one of your two outs (the 7d) is tainted. First of all, there is the risk that it gives someone a flush. Seciond, if it doesn't it sets up a redraw that will come in on the river 8 times in 48 (I'm not counting the 6d which fills you up). In addition, you have to consider the possibility of a made set of tens being slowplayed by a donk, which would have you drawing dead.
