Default UTG raise situation I\'m not sure about

not really any reads on BB here, only 4 hands against him at the time and he was 75/0/.33

since he was involved in 3 hands and his aggression was .33 I was tending to lean towards figuring he had a hand.

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 4 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero ??

my standard line here is to raise and take a free card

if I don't get one I dump the turn

4 hands are not even worth mentioning IMO

I fold the flop against almost all players.

I really don't understand this line. If you think you're ahead on the flop then you should continue-bet the turn so as not to give HIM a free card. If you think you're behind you definitely are not getting the odds to continue.

FWIW, I fold this flop.

I realize 4 hands is worthless, I mentioned what I had, and judging those 4 hands I'd seen, I was already figuring him for a calling station that isn't going to bet without a hand.

because this scenario happens often enough that I had questions about it in general, that applied to many hands and not just this particular instance, yes my response was in regards to this 1 instance, but my OP was about these situations in general

Ah. Well I'm folding this flop in almost all cases.
