Default A lesson on mixing up your play. 3/6 AA

I'm 4-tabling and playing internet spades at the same time, and notice out of the corner of my eye that I have black aces on the top left table. Action is still on EP. Now it's cold season and I'm sick as a dog, and all of a sudden I feel this giant ball of phlegm making its way up. I cannot suppress it for the life of me. I run to the sink, crouch over in mortal pain and cough up more phlegm than I, or anyone, has ever coughed up, in the history of the world. I figure I'm cool on time since it was still on EP.

But alas, in utter terror, I turn around and see that it's 3 bets to me - with 2 seconds left to act! I lunge across the room for the mouse and miss the click by no more than half a second. Turns out the 3-bettor had KK and took down a $75 pot. My friend who was watching TV says "Sometimes you have to fold aces preflop in order to mix up your play." Maybe he was right.
