I would tend to think nobody watches MNF because they have been consistentl pitting sub 500 teams against each other. Not because of Al Michaels and Madden.

Say what you want... But Brett Favre is a better actor than Dan Marino will ever be. ;-)

C'mon. He's the only football announcer that openly talks about gambling and point spreads. He rules.

Wholeheartedly agree. Michaels is at his best in the second half of blowout games.

Philly-Seattle was great, just hearing him and Madden swap stories. I think the football game just confuses Madden in the booth. Those two really need to host a half-hour or hour show with some old NFL guys sitting around swapping stories. That would be awesome.

Yeah, it's kind of comical. Sometimes in a blowout game, a team will score late, and Michaels will say something like "It's not OVER yet, folks!!" and start giggling. Madden is sitting there without a clue, wondering what the f**k is going on.

Is it just me or has almost every MNF game this year been a huge blowout? Seems like everytime I watch it's just laughable.
