How about "Does anyone here read 2+2?"

[/ QUOTE ]

That's pretty much what I type...well, I type, "Does anyone here improve his or her poker game at forumserver.twoplustwo.com?"

[/ QUOTE ]

I prefer has anyone here ever read the poker forums at http://www.twoplustwo.com? They are helpful and free.

Obviously, I wouldn't let them know I read two plus two. If I did that, they'd realize I'm a weak tight nit and run all over me.

P.S. Knowledge of the existence of this board also bestows one with magic powers.

I have noticed that tendency too, that many 2+2'ers are a bit weak-tight (still quite good players), so I play quite aggressively against them. I don't really know why, because I feel that the advice both in the 2+2-books and on this forum is to play aggressive.

hey - what's your VPIP? How's Mason? Are you going to David's home game this weekend? ... I hear all the moderators will be there!

or just simply - "hey - you do also post on the www.twoplustwo.com? use pokertracker and PokerAce?

I usually go around the table and ask each individual player if they read or post at http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com, if they use pokertracker, if they prefer pokerace or gametime, explaining that I prefer pokerace because it displays all mucked cards. But if I'm too tired I might just give a "sup trout".

I usually look for the weak tights, run over them, and let them know they are fish.

Look for the guy who seems utterly miserable and disgusted, taking little pleasure in the game, hypercritical of others, yet winning $ and very sure of himself.
