Default push A9 with short stack already in

I pushed here with intent of getting heads up vs. short stack, and trying to win the dead money in the pot. If everyone folds im risking 135 chips to win 510 chips.

Is this too risky?

this play is considerably worse due to the short stack who is in the blinds, and the fact that it was a big stack who called behind the original pusher. i'm not sure if it's actually bad, just worse than it could be.

For the reasons mentioned by Citanul, you are often risking more than that 135 in this situation (up to your whole stack since the big guy has put some chips in) with a pretty marginal hand. After shorty limped, I would still push, but after the big stack limps, I am probably mucking and waiting for a chance to be first in, even if the cards are a little worse.

yeah the person calling is the reason I made the move(dead money if they fold), but I see what your saying it would have been much better if the big stack accually had an average stack.
