Default A simple hand

I have K7 hearts in the SB.
1 MP limper, one late limper, I complete and the BB checks.
MP limper is typical average/mediocre.
Flop is J62 one heart. I bet, MP raise, I call.
Turn is 5h. I check call.
River is King of spades. I check raise, MP calls.
Do you agree? Is it close in your opinion?

If your question only concerns the river play, the check raise is a nice play and I believe it should be profitable. But everything that came before it is quite a problem.

If BB is tight, I would consider raising PF.

The flop bet is not conventional, but it's not all that bad either. BB probably has junk. There's no real draws on the board so I'd imagine you'd pick up the pot here quite a few times. That being said, I think the bet is fine.

You have 3 kings which I feel confident are clean outs, 3 sevens which could give you the best hand and a backdoor flush draw. If you think you'll get paid off if you checkraise when either a K or 7 hit on the turn, I think the call is fine.

Now that you have the flush draw on the turn, you can't fold.

Nice check-raise on the river. I would have done the same. What would your play have been if you hit a 7 instead?

My default play if a 7 hits is : check call turn, bet river and fold to a river raise. If he takes the free card, then bet river/call raise.

Check-fold on the flop. There are too many opponents to be trying to pick up the pot here. Besides, your hand pretty much sucks if you get raised, and you are out of posiion.

Your river play was good, but your flop play is wrong, IMO. The pot is too small to really take a shot at, and you don't really have clean outs. Your 3 Ks are probably good, but your 7s usually won't be after you've been raised. Your backdoor flush draw only adds 1.5 outs.

IMO, wait until there are fewer opponents to take a shot when you miss flops.

Isn't the Jack a likely card for one of the limpers to have? Seems to me it is, the pots small, so I would usually check/fold the flop.

If the flop was more ragged or maybe scarier with an Ace or a pair on it would be more likely to try for the steal.

hi des
it looks like a fold pre-flop, but that's debatable. i don't know what you're betting for on the flop. you missed and won't fold out these guys.

He picked up a flush draw on the turn. I don't think you saw that. In any case, I find the flop bet dubious. Against 2 oopponenets it's fine, but I really don't get it against 3. . . .
