Min Raise Blind Steal
For example:
BB is 200 UTG (3120) Button (2175) SB (1060) Hero/BB (1345) UTG raises to 400. I have pokertracker data that says (Steals Blinds 67%) or something like that. Button and SB fold. I have something marginal for calling a raise, like KTo. How do I play back in these kinds of situations? |

Re: Min Raise Blind Steal
What does Pokertracker say for things like:
- Folded to steal? - Went to SD% the above don't exactly match your situation but give you some idea how loose he is. In other words, how likely is he to call your reraise. It'll only cost him about 900 to call an all-in raise and you really don't want to be called if you raise. K 10 ain't much. If he's been steal- folding to raises a lot then maybe go all-in - but if you don't think you have much fold equite, I'd advise waiting until next time. Good data, tough situation. gl |

Re: Min Raise Blind Steal
I'd fold this most of the time.
If you really feel like you want this pot you could call and bet all in whatever falls. Lori |

Re: Min Raise Blind Steal
My general strategy in these situations is to respect the miniraise, give the bb up very easily and then steal it back from the SB or the Button if I have a hand. Is this about what I should be doing?

Re: Min Raise Blind Steal
As everyone keeps saying: better to be the bettor than the caller.
Anyone raising all-in against a bettor who is (or at least may well be) pot committed is really just calling him. |

Re: Min Raise Blind Steal
Plus you have a T300 lead on the short stack who will get blinded before you on the next round. Another point towards caution.
