Re: Bubble decision in a satellite
MP3 is not calling your push with KQo. I know this sounds results oriented but still, you would have had the best hand on the river here.
On this table though it looks like the big stacks were willing to risk getting into likely -EV situations preflop just to try to end the tournament, since that's the case you have a fold here, someone will bust before you do. |

Re: Bubble decision in a satellite
On the button with only 1 player needing to go out, this seems like a clear fold.
I was in a similar situation once on Stars when the 5 minute break was called. I went into the kitchen thinking, "Wow, I'm in one of those situations where I'd have to fold AA if I got it." Very first hand after the break was AA, and into the muck it went. |

[ QUOTE ]
This is a clear fold. [/ QUOTE ] Exactly and I can't believe people are actually taking this into discussion. It really isn't even close seeing as how 2 people have less than 3BB and you just need for one of them to bust out. And even if those two double, they have 5-8bb but you still have 3 other people with less chips than you. This turns into a discussion if say, only 22 people were paid and 25 were left. Then I would say to push. Calling is horrible, no matter how you look at it because people with TPTK on the flop are not getting away from their hand, and people are not calling an all-in preflop with anything less than QQ+/AK. |
