My FF rules
This is my first time commishing a league and I was hoping you fellas could tell me if there rules make sense, don't, what should change etc. Thanks in advance.
I'm especially curious about waivers and the trade deadline. Also, forced fumbles and fumble recoveries? Or should it just be recoveries... Draft: • Live Draft, 9/4/05 04:00 pm ET. • 14 Rounds. • Draft robot not enabled - no time limit between picks. Player Pool: AFC and NFC Players. Positions: QB, RB, WR, TE, K and DST. Transactions: • Lineup deadline is 5 minutes before gametime for each player. • Owners may set lineups. • Add/drops are handled by a waivers process. • The waivers process runs everyday until the season starts, at which time the process will run on Tuesday and Friday. • The waiver order resets after each weeks' games. • Dropped players remain on waivers for at least 1 day(s). • Trades are subject to a 2-day voting period, where at most 4 objections are allowed. Trades receiving more the 4 objections are sent to the commissioner for approval. • No trades can be made after the trade deadline of 11/14/05. • Owners may not make trades during the offseason. Schedule: Playoffs start in Week 15 and last for 2 Weeks. Scoring: Head-to-Head, Points Based System. Ties go to the team with more points from Reserves. Scoring based on total stats each period. Re: My FF rules
6 pts/TD pass is too much.
getting pts for yards allowed is dumb. only pts for fumbles recovered by the defense, not for forced fumbles (too much confusion/dissention, i.e. "did he lose the ball on his own or was it knocked out", etc) are you giving pts to individual players AND teams for KR/PR tds? Like when Dante Hall returns one, does the owner with Dante get the pts AND the KC ST get the pts? What if the same owner has both? Also, DTD seems to cover both defense and special teams - do you also need separate categories for each of them and also for KRTD and PRTD(don't think so)? |
