Default new Dutch Boyd auctions

Dutch's previous auction got taken down. He's back with several new ones. Here's a link to one of them. Here's what his blog says:
[ QUOTE ]

Grrrr... so after a few days of getting bids, I got an email from eBay on Friday saying they were taking the auction down because (1) I had a link to the site and (2) I had some search terms in the title that didn't relate to the auction (WPT?). I think it's for the best... got an email from a guy who said that the Copenhagen tournament was already sold out, so I'd probably have been in a bad spot if the listing DID sell.

I think what I'm going to do is pick another tournament and try another listing. Probably one of the WSOP $10k circuit events. Look for the auction later on today. Will be putting it up after a few tournaments.

[/ QUOTE ]

Looks like whoever reported him got the job done.

For a genious he's not very good at arithmetic. Here's a paragraph from his auction:
[ QUOTE ]
Winner of this auction will receive a 1% stake in my performance in the tournament (e.g. if I place low in the money and receive $10,000, winner will receive $2,500... if I win the tournament and receive $500,000, winner will receive $125,000). The auction price is starting at exactly 1% of the total buy-in.

[/ QUOTE ]

1% is worth more than I thought.

I heard that Dutch won a seat on Paradise for the $10K NLH event at the Catch a Rising Star tournament. 1st is expected to be $1M.

Yea, it appears he's selling some 1% stakes and some 25% stakes, and he's incapable of changing the description for the two auctions.

btw Boyd said on his site something implying he paid you back at least some of the money. Can you confirm or deny that?

Default speaking of Dutch Boyd ....

Any truth to this?

2+2 thread

Also, staking somebody for a single tournament is like staking a ring game player for 100 hands. Positive expectation or not it's pure gambling.

I understand that it is assumed I would answer this question freely, but I can't confirm or deny it.

It just keeps getting sadder and sadder. Also, WTF are you supposed to learn in a 30-minute session?
