How often can you psychically predict that you will hit one of your "live" cards? (btw live cards are only good for 3:1 against, post-flop)

If you can accurately predict that you will hit your pair 25% of the time, then you were approximately even money.

That might not be right, precious little statistical and game theory work has been done for the case of psychic prescience.

Yes, I'm kidding. It was a horrible play, not a strong move, and you should be thankful you got away with it. You feeling like a poker Goddess because of that play is only going to cause you to give away even more hands in the future. Acknowledge that hand for what it was, a complete suckout, and strive never to do it again.
