This is kinda a garbage hand preflop. I would fold it there.

Given where you're at, I would probably underbet the pot a little bit on the turn, but not too little. Maybe ~400-500.

No way am I calling pre-flop with these cards.

But now that you have two pair, you have to get try to take the chips now. I don't get cute with two pair. I play it like I've got TPTK. I would bet 500.
