Default Was I priced in?

15 man home game tourney-5 per table

Blinds 25/50
pokergods111 $425 in chips

Ok just to give a little idea. I was running the table pretty much winning with aggression. A player who I knew played pretty well was moved to the left of me. I was small blind and I raised $150 making it $200. The guy to the left of me bet enough to put me all-in. I folded. Now my question is was I priced in by already having pretty much half of my chips in the pot and should I have called?

Thanks in advabce for any input.

Your cards would help but push preflop.

So your suggesting that I should have made the move? Is that correct?

What he's saying is that if you were willing to put half your stack in on a raise, you should have just pushed the whole thing, rather than being put to a decision where you might have to fold a hand with half your stack already in the pot. Exactly what happened to you.

He's saying your original post didnt say what cards you had.

But getting laid 3/1, you have to call with any hand you were willing to bet 1/2 your stack with on your initial raise.

The others are correct.

If you will bet $200, you should just bet it all.

Also, how do you expect advice when you don't post your actual hand?

[/ QUOTE ]I don't like the original raise AT ALL.

Go all in. Or fold. There's no other options with that hand.
