First Session of Limit Poker (Low Content)

This is my first time playing limit, testing out the $2/4 online. I get dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in middle position and call after two people come in before me. No raises and we see the flop:

4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checked to me, I bet out, all except BB fold.

Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, I bet, BB calls.

River 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB checks, I bet, BB raises, I 3-bet, BB calls.

He turns over A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] for the nut flush. He then proceeds to type "LOL, sucks to be you! Welcome to the table, thanks for walking right into my trap!" I was so baffled I didn't even bother responding. Pretty sure another 2+2er was at table and promptly declared I was pizown3d. Good thing it wasn't NL, apparently saved myself some money.

Nice hand; you played it perfectly aside from not raising preflop.

Not to mention all the other bets I would have put in on the flop and turn, only another heart would have really slowed me down.

Raise preflop.

Most of the time, you'll see the guy holding the nuts check raise the turn, not the river.

But the assbag who beat you (who was holding the nuts) didn't cap the river after your 3-bet? Are you sure you have the sequence correct here?

Don't ever let the smack talk at the table get to you. Anything that makes you take it personally, start "gunning" to beat someone, or changes your game at all is tilt.
