Is Muckleshoot in Seattle non-smoking?
I've pretty much stopped playing live cardroom poker because all the cardrooms in Seattle allow smoking. I was going to move to Redmond and was looking forward to being able to play at Muckleshoot during the weekends. Now I hear that it's a smoking casino. Anyone confirm?

Tulalip is the only non smoking casino in the seattle area and is about the same distance away from redmond as the muckleshoot. |

Blehhhh. Do lots of people actually smoke there? Are all the hold'em tables in one room so that smoke is very prevalent throughout?
Thanks for the info. I didn't know that Tulalip was non-smoking though. Will have to check it out. Are the mid-limit games (like 6/12 to 10/20) pretty good? |

The ceiling is decently high and they seem to have a good filtration system. I have pretty sensitive eyes, and I don't have trouble playing there. If Diamond Lil's smoke is a 10, I'd put the Muck at a 4 or so. All the tables are in the same room, but the spacing is pretty good - it's not tight at all.

If you want non-smoking tulalip is a good place to go. But I kinda hate the way that room is run.

Re: Is Muckleshoot in Seattle non-smoking?
everything mr. curious said.
The dealers are so-so. If the list starting getting long, the wait can be extremely long because they don't work the brush well. If the list is short, I've seen on multiple occasions, a game get started the almost immediately break another game. The floor people just aren't thinking about the games in general. On the plus side, the food is good, the comps are pretty easy to get, and the room is physically nice..just the way the poker goes kinda sucks. In terms of types of players they have the typical mix of bad/badder/worse/sometimes Okay players. |

They don't start games as soon as they should. They will sometimes sacrifice filling a game to start a new one. They spread $4/8 & $100-$200 NL, but the other games ($3/6, $10/20, & $20/40) aren't always run. Other than the weekends or tournament days, there are only 2 or 3 $4/8 games and 1 or 2 NL games. BUT, pop and water is free and they have some drink specials. The Muckleshoot CHARGES $1.50 for a bottle of water |

Re: Is Muckleshoot in Seattle non-smoking?
Confirming the previous replies - it's a smoking room but well ventilated.
There are individual seats at some tables where smoke will be blown in your face steadily if someone nearby lights up - but that's almost always cured by a simple seat change at the next opportunity. Just observe where the fans are, and what direction you see the smoke going when you see a smoker. |

I don't know what limit your looking for but Little Creek is non-smoking. Last I checked they offer 4-8 and 10-20 limit and 5-5 no limit.
