The reason no site would ever do that is because if people started tipping and winning, the site would be known for being rigged, and otherwise people would just get angry. the tip would just create too much superstition and ruin the credibility of any site with the button.

Wonderful.
So you could have a "Why Tip?" thread in this forum too.
And have some electronic dealer become a 2+2 member and call people cheapskates and douchebags for not tipping.

Better yet, get the B&M casinos to offer a "Reload Bonus" with 10x requirement with 5 days to clear. Fun.

Maybe if every cent went to improving customer service. Other than that, no way for me.

The question is whether SOME players would do it...not whether ot not you would do it.

I have thought of this as well (and believe it's been mentioned here before).
There are MANY players who would tip 5 cents (or whatever) after every won hand for 'luck'.

As another poster alluded to....this would create some kinds of credibility issues that players who tip get dealt winning cards.

I'm not so sure the credibility issue would be that bad though.
On the PPM cruise there were SEVERAL players there who thought the deal on Party 'was a bit funny' or was 'rigged against players right after cashing-out'. etc etc.
So, even with credibility issues from some of their more loyal players they STILL do a pretty decent business.

Also - there are many B&M players who believe in similar karma regarding tipping and changing-the-deck, etc.

Now - if Party implemented a $0.05 thing to tip....and also a $0.05 thing to request a deck-change I think they could significantly increase their profits.

I also think a site like paradise-poker might do well to charge $0.05 or whatever if you order one of their hot-dogs or drinks or cigarettes or whatever.
People are dumb. There are some players who would DEFINITELY pay real money to have a picture of a cigar at their table.

I agree that it would be nice if Party would consider putting an increase like this towards improving their customer-service.

Some would.
If it went to Gamblers Anonymous, or Bad Beat Jackpot, or random seat jackpot.

people would sooo tip the dealer, people are stupid and superstitious. This would actually be a genius move on partys part, except that it would really discredit them. People are always going on and on about how its rigged, a tip button would only make that worse

I would. It would give the illusion of being a high roller, meaning I get more respect, so +EV. It'd just be funny to have people say, man you PAID for that??!? I mean hell, it's 5 cents.

It's just some of the little things I notice when I play B&M.

I started playing poker online and probably 99% of my play is still online. So the differences at B&M (including getting ONLY 35 hands an hour or whatever) really stand out to me when playing live.

The first couple times I was at a table where someone asked for a deck-change I thought that a card must have gotten scuffed or something....but then I found out that they were mostly doing it just to try to get the 'cards to run better' or some other such nonsense and I just couldn't believe it.

We were actually wasting time when we could have been playing the freaking hands just because of some bad player's ridiculous superstition.
"I flopped a set....but he got the flush on the river. Deck change please!!"
