Sorry, no real read on this guy. We'd have to assume him to be the average low-limit Partier, which is why, at the turn, I'm feeling like a two-outer is my only bailout, cause AA, KK, JJ, etc., all have me beat.

The only mistake I see is feeling bad after rather than jumping for joy. Don't worry, you'll get sucked out on enough to make up for it.

Looking to fold big hands is not the trademark of a winning player.

Or something like that.

Based on his betting, when faced with his turn bet you are almost certainly beat, and don't have the odds to call his turn bet hoping to hit the queen. So you only stay in if you believe he is bluffing or is a maniac (who always bluffs, I suppose).

You fold QQ here?

Sigh, no, I don't fold it. I play it anyway, even though I'm sure I've lost it.

Perhaps a raise on the turn for info. purposes? If he raises you know you're beat(?).
Sorry if this sounds dumb, just trying to look at it from a slightly different angle.

Maybe I get a pass for calling this down because of the softness of the competition at this limit....I just played another hand betting top-pair-6-kicker, and after my opponent's river call I'm sure I got caught being cute and I'm beat, but he shows middle pair and I take a 10BB pot. Go figure

W/o reads, this hand was fine, i would actually cap this flop, and then if he leads the turn call down. Dont feel bad, if u cracked his AA so what, it'll happen 1/5 times, and im sure its happened to you. NH

That's the whole point of value betting. With loose players you're going to get called down a lot with 2nd and 3rd pair.

What more information do you want that you're beat? A semi-bluff raise on the turn isn't going to fold a hand that beats you and you don't have a reasonable amount of outs to improve.

I hate to say that I call this down like a chump too, even though UTG+1 is holding up a big neon sign that says "I have AA/KK/TT!"
