Re: jennicide- my new favorite player
Playing 4-5 MTT's at a time probably added that figure up quickly.

Re: jennicide- my new favorite player
I think 1000-1300 is a typical number of tourneys for those in the top 50. If you start each weekday evening at 5PM and enter everything +$10 until midnight you'll play 7-8 tourneys and will be multi-ing 4-5 at a time. This gives you ~150 a month and over 1000 on the year.
Your 7K pts is very respectable given the number you've played. You shouldn't have to feel like you need to "move up". The TLB list is more a function of how much you play, not how well. I finished '04 with 9K in TLB pts, good for a rank that broke into the top 300. I played around 300 tourneys and hardly played at all in the last four months of the year, so I'm happy with where I ended up. For much of the year I was in the top 150 and I had a goal to be there at the end of the year as a part-time player, but I gave up the chase late in the year. You get a little prestige as one of the "elites", but when you really look at it it's not that meaningful. |
