Default 30/60 PS Hand Q

A good player told me to raise the flop, unless I'm close the action. I guess from that he's saying I should shut the other player out, but given the pot odds he's getting, I don't see what hands he could have that compells me to shut him out. By calling I can see what action develops and stuff, maybe not push them off inferior hands and put too much in against better hands.

Both opponents are calling stations. As to what that dudes lead out bet means though, your guess is as good as mine.

Raise flop. Bet turn. Take free showdown if you like. You want SB out IMO.

I'm not sure about this, unless he has a Q, in which case he is not going to fold, there really isnt any hand you want to make him fold(except AK but its extremely unlikely), he probably doesnt have a 2 and is there is just a small chance he has a 7 so there is no need to be afraid of 5 out draws, so if he stays in he has two/three outs probably, there are no gutshots, I like this flop call line

Thought u had 99 for some reason. Must have been playing them at the time.

Ok, your hand is less vulnerable as JJ and Storm's points are dead on (unless he has AK, as he said).

I'd still raise this and hope to have SB make a bad call - if he's a station, let him take the incorrect odds you are gonna offer him by raising. Either way though, raising keeps you in the driver's seat in this hand.

they could very easily have me beat, the Q is a bad card could just be pumping the pot for them

Especially if they are calling stations. They will call the reraise and subsequent bets with any Q.

Mr Bruiser,

Do you think the BB would play A7 the same way, putting you on AK?

bruiser, if you don't mind me asking, why are you playing this game?

From your posts I can't imagine that you are a winning player.

If you don't raise the flop, at least raise the turn.
