He called a pot sized bet on the flop.
I'd fold. Granted, after the check from hero on the turn . . . Would someone recommend overbetting the flop? (I guess Doyle would ) [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Or is betting the turn, as proposed by the last poster, the best play? And if so, how much? I mean what's the amount that you would pick to bet on the turn which you would absolutely give it up if raised but you think would cause a drawing hand to fold? Pot again? [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

The way I would play it in retrospect is to block the turn for 2/3 pot. If he calls its check/fold. I think a made flush is going to try to extract value, there is no way that push is a flush, more like turned two pair.
I never overbet my sets because I WANT action. My standard on a drawing board is pot. The only thing that can call correctly is a combo draw with overs for the coinflip.
