Default Aerogel jackets

I've been thinking of getting one of these for a while. Anyone know how well the aerogel insulation stands up over time?

I don't know much about this Aerogel business, but I have been rocking Burton gear for the 11 years that I have been snowboarding and they make quality goods. I would trust any claims they make with respect to quality and would count on their jackets to hold up for several years.

Somebody recently wore an aerogel jacket to the northpole and never zipped it up.

This jacket doesn't have nearly that much aerogel in it though.

I know nothing of jackets, but aerogel has always seemed like just impossibly awesome stuff to me, so your jacket would at least be cool.
