ouch, sorry I wasn't by a computer to cover you when you called. Yeah, I've found a backup power supply and two internet connections to be a necessity. I've still gotten some hands dropped switching between internet connections though.

This is so ironic to me...Some years ago I was Director of Corp. Real Estate for a big Calif. Bank....Among my responsibilities was the over-sight of operations at our Data Center (a 260,000 sf bldg)...In that building our UPS system occupied the entire basement; cost a bazillion dollars to operate, test and maintain; and was the source of constant, agonized speculation about whether, or not, it would operate as expected in the case of emergency.
