Preflop - nice
Flop - nice bet after opponents look weak
Turn - worried here; new bet from UTG who has been passive so far suggests he paired a queen or (less likely) was slow playing flush. I'd call down but probably not raise turn. On river I'd probably check for a cheap showdown, but since your opponents played weak again the bet might be ok (depends on how likely oponent is to c/r).

Yeah, i'm not digging the turn raise. If you could have faced the other monkey with 2 cold, then maybe, but he's not folding for one more bet here. I assume you're folding to a 3-bet?

I would rather just call the turn donk and see what he does on the river. If he's bluffing, let him keep bluffing. If he's ahead, you're losing the same by calling down as by raising the turn.

I like the idea of the river value bet, but what worse hands do you think are calling? As you played it, just check behind.

I was reading the responses to this hand and I was surprised nobody has liked it yet.
Everything seems standard up until the turn raise. I like it for the following reasons. Im sure that one of the opponents left is drawing to a flush and this decreases his odds a little.
I dont think that UTG is donk betting trip queens. He could have all sorts of hands to make this bet, which most of his hands we are beating right now.
But I like a check on the river instead of a bet. Your only getting paid off by a smaller pp. No busted flush draw is calling your river bet.

I don't mind the turn raise, you probably have the best hand, and you can fold to a 3 bet. I usually bet the river as well.

You could make a case for calling down, but I think you're ahead enough here that raising the turn is +EV.

I'm surprised by the debate about the turn; maybe I'm a lag (over/under on number of posts until that gets quoted?) but this seems like a definite raise to me. That queen was the best non-9 card in the deck for us. While I'd usually be concerned about the caller between me and the bettor, on this flop there's tons of losing hands he'll call with (and continue to call with). If the bettor actually has a queen, I would have expected action on the flop.

But I think one of the most signicant aspects of this raise is that the times that the turn bettor was (incorrectly) waiting for a safe turn card with a queen, this is a very easy fold to a 3-bet.

I think the river bet is closer than the turn raise is. I think we'll see two folds pretty often here but from the previous action I think that we're ahead quite often when called, so I also value-bet it.

I know there's a case for grunching here because you don't know if anyone else is writing a response at the same time as you, but it always makes me smile when the first poster replies without looking at the previous posts

Interesting turn raise. I would not have done it but I think it set you up for an easy bet on the river. Good move.
