DirecTV DVR? (+ hot chick)

I'm too lazy to Google this, let alone any other sort of real research.

I've been seeing these commercials lately for "DirecTV DVR" and it doesn't look like TiVo. Are these indeed a different DVR system? Is DirecTV ditching TiVo?

I can't see the pic on my silly work computer, so I can address the question.

I have no clue if they are ditching TiVo, but I'm fairly certain that's how they have always referred to it. DirecTV DVR, powered by TiVo.

They are definitely separate from Tivo. They will no longer offer Tivo boxes, but continue to provide the service to existing customers. They have a contract with Tivo that runs through 2006 or 2007. Last I heard there was no word on whether they'd continue their relationship past that. I haven't heard how the features of the DTV box compare to the Tivo box.
