Default Qualified for the WSOP!

Hey guys, I am pumped to say I managed to win one of the four spots in the WSOP tonight in Party's WSOP qualifier!

It only took me 15 tries and $2,000!

I only played in the $328 MTT's. Well I would run the $39 SNG's for a spot in the $328, but if I didn't Q, I would buy in direct.

The worst was one day I played in 9 $39 SNG's, didn't qualify, and then bought in for $328. That was an expensive day.

Good job Equal. I started back on my quest last night after bubbling the other week. Is it me or is the $9 sub-qual 10 times worse than the cheapest S-n-G?

Congrats!! I'm jealous.

I'm curious what kind of early tournament strategy you used (Levels 1-4ish)? Did you limp a lot and manage to double up/accumulate chips? Did you play super tight and wait for great starting hands? Did you play aggressively with big raises pre and/or post flop? Did you slowplay? Did you make any moves?

What was your basic early tournament strategy?

Thanks,

ptmusic

Nice report. I won my seat into tonights satellite, hopefully I'll play as well as you did.
