He's saying folding there would indicate that you're playing weak, rather than the fold itself being "weak."
I would say that pushing there is "reckless." He'd probably say it's "strong." A difference in play style brings a difference in diction. Is diction the correct word there? |

This is really read dependent... Against an unknown big-stack I would fold.

Another good reason to raise it more preflop is to try to sell a blind steal. Many big stacks will immediately put you on a steal and try a resteal when you raise more than the norm from a stealing position.
Also, I would probably push the flop. Its a huge pot for me and I would count it very likely that the villain does not have a king here. |
