Default Absolute interface is horrible

I feel like I am about to have a grand mal seizure and then my head is going to explode looking at their interface.

Any advice to get rid of the excess crap there. If I can't clean that interface up I do not think I can ever play there again.

thnaks, MrX

the interface is horrible, the players are worse. I block everyone's image but my own, makes it easier to find myself when multi-tabling. One of the nice things is you can buy in for much more $$ relative to the blinds in NL. You can see a lot of flops cheap and with the large stacks they pay off big when you hit.

I downloaded the program and hated the interface as well. As a result, I never made a deposit. I hear they give reload bonuses very frequently, but I don't know that I could handle the interface long enough to earn them. Maybe I'll try the suggestion to turn off everyone else's avatar to make it somewhat bearable.

I find using the interface appearance fine, the main problem I have is with how processor hungry it is. If I just play three games at Absolute its fine, however if I add some other games everything grinds to a halt. Looks kind of like a CPU usage leak?!? I am using an Intel 2.6GHz processor. It’s difficult justifying building a faster computer just so I can clear the Absolute bonuses.

Funny you mention this as I was about to post about this today. I DLed and deposited money yesterday into Absolute for the first time just for the bonus. I did not enjoy the software one bit, too much going on for my taste.

I found your thread while I was searching to see if I could find a replacement skin for Absolute. I didn't find anything in a search for "Absolute" in the subject heading going back for a year.

I went into the program file looking for the table image so I could modify it myself, but I couldn't find it.

Could someone please direct me to it?

Agreed.
Some Absolute VIP guy called me last week and I told him the only way they were gonna get bigger was to clean that crap out and get the software to roll faster.

They're listening .. but are they really listening ??
Sometimes I wonder if money talks...

Yes the interface isn't too great, BUT the reload offers bring the fishies in from everywhere. Players are bad here. You may take a bad beat or two but eventually you will make some money. I have been playing absolute for two years now. I like the buy in structure and the above quote about turning off everyone's pic, when multi tabling, is a great tip for me. Now I just gotta get a pic up there and turn off everyone else's. Damn good tip. I can do 4 tables with no overlap, but it does seem to slow down. Once I leave a table and only play three tables I have no problems.

The place is horrid, bad interface, bad players, but some damn good reload bonus money. This place is #1 for reloads. The money is too easy to pass up.

There is some kind of leak in their sw.

Sometimes itīs so slow that I time out before I get to see the flop cards. I can hear the other players bet and call, but I canīt see the cards or click any button.

There are also many other problems.

I have played there a lot the past few weeks, but I donīt think Iīm going to play anymore. If they canīt get their sw fixed I donīt think Iīll ever return. Itīs too bad because I kind of like the place.
