JJ in UTG
Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (8 handed)
Any thoughts on how I could play this better? Do I bet the flop with this board? Not very fond of my turn play at all. What is the best approach there? Thanks Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls $0.50 (All-In), BB folds. Flop: (6.50 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in) Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls. Turn: (4.25 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in) Hero bets, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, CO calls. Re: JJ in UTG
turn play is fine.
On the flop, i'd check-raise CO if aggressive, or lead out if passive. If 3-bet/raised, i'll call the turn on the 3rd nut flush draw. I think the turn is fine; given the turn and river action, i'd be confident to put CO on A7 rather than a flush, they slowed down fearing AJ and then put the gas back on when the 7 fell. Nice hand.
