If I was a team mate I'd feel seriously betrayed.

From the ESPN article:

[ QUOTE ]
"I'm not going to answer any more questions about Ron Artest," said Jermaine O'Neal on Monday. "Ron doesn't want to be here, so Ron doesn't matter anymore."

O'Neal gave up 15 games, a possible championship and a good chunk of his reputation for Artest. He looked done with his teammate a long, long time ago.

Artest for Marbury, all problems are solved.

The Pacers don't wamt or need Marbury. He solves nothing for the Pacers. Its not like they are just going to give Artest away, much less to the Knicks of all teams.

If by "nothing" you mean "horrible point guard play so far this season," then yes, he solves nothing.

The most valid point to this story is that Artest is very tradeable. For a player of his skill he is underpaid (in NBA temrs), but it will be difficult for the Pacers to get a player of his caliber without breaking the bank. So, "very tradable" means many teams could show interest. However, it will be hard to get max value in return.
