Default AA late

This is a friend's hand, so forgive the lack of some details. All I know of opponents is they are playing junk cards and generally not very good. Loose players.

1-2 limits live game.

Friend is dealt AA in late position. Early player raises to $10, mid player calls, friend calls. Flop comes 8-9-10 (assume rainbow). Initial raiser bets 20, Middle player raises to 40. What do you do? Also, friend has 100 in his stack after preflop call, and both opponents have him covered.

Results in white:
Friend goes all in and is called by both players. Both had JT. A 7 came on turn and friend lost hand.

With that info; I probably re-raise pre-flop every single time.
