Check-fold is far too timid here. So let's put up a fight. You represented big ace or big pair pre-flop. If villains do not have an ace they most probably cannot stand the heat.

Lead out and 3-bet if you are raised and pot is heads up. Lead turn if flop is not capped. If you have villains left after turn bet you are done.

Preflop I would have thrown this away, now you are drawing to 2 outs (most likely) - do you really think you would get an A to fold?.....check fold, move on...

That's too strong and too aggressive.

That's too weak and too passive.

Check the flop. If it's a bet and raise back to you then fold.

If it goes bet-fold, then call it down.

If it goes bet-call, then call and fold the turn if you don't spike.

If it goes check-bet, then checkraise. If MP coldcalls then check-fold the turn. If he folds then lead the turn against the button. You'll probably need to check-call the river.
